January 4, 2015

October 13 - October 19. Still chugging, and setting a goal to finish out the year by the last week of January 2015. #prayersforalessia. What went on this week: The Monday of this week was my last day as a nanny, which was a really sad day that ended in millions of tears for me. I absolutely looossssst my shit. But Tuesday was my first day at BuzzFeed, and one of the surrealist days of my life. It was a slow day, full of creating passwords and logging into programs, but it was so much fun. I haven't ever worked in an office that I actually applied to work in - just a few odd jobs here and there that happened to be in an office. But it never felt like my job. This first week at BuzzFeed was such an eye-opener for me, and really solidified that I am doing exactly what I'm meant to be doing now. Over the weekend I celebrated my first week with the Oyster Festival on Long Island.About this spread: On the left side I focused on my last day with the babes, because I had taken so many pictures. On the right I had a couple of #fromwhereIstand shots and then the Oyster Festival on the bottom. I loved the cards that I used, and the amount of journaling that I had room for.Details + interesting tidbits: I wrote out the last paragraph of this post on the week card, because I feel like it highlights how I was feeling that Monday afternoon. I like that this spread had a lot of me in it, because I felt like this week was all about me and the changes I was making.Photo breakdown: phone photos: 11 // canon t3 photos: 0 // polaroid photos: 0.
